Eatex - Food Innovation Hub
A set of versatile spaces
Eatex - Food Innovation is a collaborative innovation hub for technology implementation transfer to the agri-food industry. It has been conceived as a meeting place where science and business collaborate to make research and technology transfer a success.
Its aim is to improve and accelerate this transfer from R&D centres to the agri-food sector.
The project has been directed by OFS Architects and END Etiqueta Negra Design to give the space the personality required by an activity of these characteristics.
The proposal consists of different spaces that manage to achieve their own environment for different uses. It is therefore a set of versatile spaces, which also allows its configuration and use to be modified over time.
The space is made up of various compositions for shared work using Adapta 2 Plus desks with Duo acoustic panels and Qbuc pedestals, as well as custom made solutions based on the Modul desk programme and 60/40 cabinets, accented by a large 60/40 central module that expresses the programme’s dual utility, which serves both to separate ambiences and for storage.
The set of solutions adopted, between the construction and the comprehensive equipment, maximise the use of the installation, multiplying possibilities, depending on the number of people and the needs of use at any given moment, additionally guaranteeing great comfort for all, both for the daily user, the occasional user and, of course, the visitor.
A project promoted by CNTA (Centro Nacional de Tecnología y Seguridad Alimentaria – National Centre for Technology and Food Safety), with the support of the Government of Navarra and the collaboration of more than 10 R&D centres of the Navarro Centre of R&D&I (SINAI).
